Terms of business
Placeholder terms for review by your solicitor before publication.
1. About these terms
The Wedding Music Agency acts as agent for the artists listed on this site. These terms apply to every enquiry, quote and booking made through the platform. Placeholder copy — replace with your reviewed legal terms before going live.
2. Quotes
Quotes are itemised and valid for the period stated on the quote, typically fourteen days. Availability is held informally while a quote is live but is only secured once a deposit is paid and the contract signed.
3. Deposits and balances
A non-refundable deposit is payable to confirm a booking. The balance is due in advance of the wedding date as set out in your contract, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Cancellation
Cancellations must be made in writing. Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations inside the period stated in your contract may attract a further charge reflecting the artist's lost date.
5. Replacement guarantee
If an artist cannot perform due to illness, emergency or force majeure, the agency will source a replacement act of equivalent standard and style at no additional cost to the client.
6. Performance conditions
Clients and venues must provide safe, weather-protected performance space, adequate power, parking and access, plus reasonable refreshments as specified in the contract.
7. Timings and overruns
Performance times are agreed in the contract. Extensions on the night are subject to artist agreement, venue licence and an additional fee.
8. Reviews and content
We publish reviews only from weddings booked and completed through the agency. Artist media is used with permission from the artist.
9. Liability
The agency's liability is limited to the value of the booking fee received. Artists carry their own public liability insurance and PAT-tested equipment.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction.
